Medieval Siege Engine Kit—Trebuchet
Make your own Trebuchet an ancient weapons of “castle destruction”.
Pathfinders’ innovative medieval siege engine kits build working replicas of the most infamous and powerful medieval siege engines. The Trebuchet Kit features a working counterweight sling that can hurl a ball of soft modeling clay over 20 feet! Once assembled, the Trebuchet is 26” T x 18” W x 9” H. The Trebuchet kit uses only wood, rope and leather. Its pieces are joined by wooden dowels, not screws or nails. All pieces are pre-cut and drilled requiring only white glue to assemble. Completed instructions with educational notes are included. The Pathfinders Trebuchet kit is suitable for children 10 and older, taking an hour or two to complete. This Trebuchet is a natural for school science projects. Safety instructions are included and children are recommended to use only under adult supervision. |
